The Veterans Restorative Justice Act Event Summary

At the launch party for the Veteran's Restorative Justice Act, VDP co-founder Brock Hunter discussed the reality of combat trauma for today's troops and how it leads to criminal behavior.

The experience of one veteran

Jacob Scholler discusses a few of the terrible things he saw in combat and his subsequent drinking problems that lead to legal trouble. In veteran's court, things changed when he had a positive experience and got the help needed to make appropriate changes.

Alex Kempe's Experience

Alex Kempe discusses his drug use after returning from combat and his feelings of frustration with America after spending time in jail.
